Naked Neck by Innocentium Naked Neck by Innocentium
Our newest chick has an unusual appearance, which will especially be the case as it gets older. The naked neck, or "Turken", will never have feathers on its neck.

They're very distinctive birds.

How many chickens do you have overall?

chickens are distinctive. Geese are worse. They are distorting my back yard lol.
I dont know... maybe over 20. I have a mix of Bantys and standard egg laying chickens.
I have a Rooster that is rumpless and is a naked Neck. He makes pretty babies
just like him.

We've considered getting geese. How have they distorted your yard?

They won't stop eating the grass and making holes and mud.
Thats waterfowl for yah though. I just love them anyways.

Hopefully, they aren't aggressive.
We were thinking about getting pilgrim geese, since we've heard they're fairly docile.

It all depends on how you raise them. Everytime I breed and purchase
geese, they have been never aggressive. Plus I buy/ hatch goslings and work with them
for a little bit, then they become friendly and want to eat out of your hands.

I do have an Gander that loves to be petted and picked up. He's on my old account!

Do they get along with well your chickens?
